Get out your binoculars! New York City is home to over 200 species of birds throughout the year that often make their home in our urban natural areas.

We were happy to be one of 's partners in creating their fantastic NYC Urban Bird Explorers Guide. This guide has all the information you need to start birding — how to identify specific birds by sight and sound, where to go for the best birding, and information about bird habitat here in New York.
