The King's College

The King's College The King's College is a Christian liberal arts college in New York City's Financial District. We seek We prepare students for principled leadership.

The King’s College seeks ambitious students who want to make a difference in the world. The college aims to contribute to American society by producing graduates who command the important intellectual traditions, who think lucidly about the social and political issues that confront them today, who write with force and flair, who speak with eloquence, and who are eager to exchange ideas in open deb

ate with those who espouse different views. The King’s College educates students to lead with principle as they aspire to make America better. And nothing else. Many selective colleges and universities, of course, have staked their claim to the word ‘leadership,’ so how does King’s differ? We mean something surprisingly difficult. Leadership to us requires facility in complex ideas and the sophistication to guide the strategic institutions of society: government, commerce, law, the media, civil society, education, the arts and the church. With a demanding curriculum and a campus in the heart of New York City, King’s is not for the timid soul. To accomplish this, the College teaches a compelling worldview rooted in the Bible and informed by close study of great works of philosophy, political theory, and economics. We study Paul and Plato; Moses and Machiavelli; Adam and Adam Smith.

The Board of Trustees has selected May 31, 2023, as a deadline to raise sufficient funds in order to continue operations through the 2023-2024 academic year. While we continue to raise money to support our current obligations, we have limited time to secure the funds needed to continue the mission of The King’s College. Based on recent budgetary needs, that amount could be as great as $12 million.

The good news is that a group of generous donors has committed $100,000 as a matching gift. That means that all donations received between now and Tuesday, May 9 will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000. Regardless of the outcome of our current situation, we will need additional funds to either finish well or move forward. Any donations toward the $100K match are both welcomed and vital and will be used to pay our current pressing obligations.

Will you prayerfully consider how God might involve you in this phase of our fundraising efforts?
