Calling all John Jay College MPA Students!

We are pleased to share an opportunity for eligible students to attend the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Applicants must be enrolled in the MPA program during both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Selected students will receive funding for conference registration, airfare, and three nights of shared hotel accommodations. Students will be responsible for meals and local transportation.

To apply, please email the following documents to Dr. Simone Martin-Howard at [email protected] by Friday, September 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.:

- A one-paragraph summary of your research topic aligned with one of the conference tracks listed in the attached announcement
- A one-page statement of interest
- Your résumé

Selected applicants will be invited to a Zoom interview during the week of September 13. A maximum of five to six students will be chosen.

David Shapiro is pleased to announce the ex*****on of a shared interest agreement between the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Universidad Atlantida in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina (Atlantis University | Protagonists). Among other goals, we endeavor to create opportunities to share faculty and students, expand academic programming, including summer school, conduct joint research, and sponsor joint conferences.
