PAD 797 – Faculty-Mentored Research in Public Administration Check out this class for Spring 2026!
Prof. Morote is deeply passionate about research, writing, publishing, and disseminating knowledge. She states: I firmly believe that learning how to conduct and present research is an essential part of your professional formation—it opens doors to leadership, innovation, and a successful career.
That is precisely why I chose to teach this course:
PAD 797 – Faculty-Mentored Research in Public Administration
This is a 3-credit course designed for students who wish to engage in hands-on research under faculty guidance. You may work on individual or group projects—these could be thesis projects, fieldwork initiatives, or collaborative research where you serve as research assistants.
I plan to teach the class online, with occasional in-person sessions scheduled in advance—likely every other week, depending on our collective needs.
If you are eager to gain practical research experience, strengthen your academic profile, and prepare for publication opportunities, I encourage you to register for PAD 797 and join me in this exciting journey.
Warm regards,
Dr. Elsa-Sofia Morote
