Your insights on the Cornerstone model and scaling humanities-centered learning are helping inform our work as we continue to shape our Teagle Foundation undergraduate initiative, The City and the Sea.

Mina’s experience as a City and the Sea Fellow is shaped by meaningful learning opportunities, inspiring faculty, and a cohort that pushes her thinking in new directions. As she puts it, her professors have encouraged her pursuit of public service, and her peer fellows motivate her to engage more deeply with every challenge.

Pursuing an accelerated combined degree with a BA in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration, Mina is developing the tools to contribute to coastal governance and to the organizations that support resilient coastal communities. We’re proud to highlight her journey and the supportive community helping her grow as a leader.

This opportunity is supported in part by The Teagle Foundation’s Civics in the City initiative, which helps prepare students to participate thoughtfully in the civic life of New York City.
