Kappa-Sigma Brooklyn-College

Kappa-Sigma Brooklyn-College Pi-Phi is the 336th Chapter of Kappa Sigma to be installed in North America.

The Pi-Phi Chapter of Kappa Sigma was founded by over 25 friends and brothers at Brooklyn College, the City University of New York. The Pi-Phi Chapter was installed on October 30th, 2009, at the Brooklyn College Student Center by members of the Omicron-Epilson (Adelphi University), Nu-Gamma (Pratt Institute), Alpha-Eta (George Washington) and other chapters of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. i-Phi has been a team player in the Brooklyn College community, helping with food drives, fundraisers, and mentoring fellow students and elementary through high school-age children. Fraternally, Pi-Phi has also helped install other Kappa Sigma chapters, including Sacred Heart University (Pi-Omega), St. John’s University- Queens (Rho-Beta), Rutgers University (Gamma-Upsilon), Texas Women’s University (Rho-Gamma), St. John’s University- Staten Island (Rho-Sigma) and Queens College (Rho-Tau), among others. Pi-Phi is proud to have within its ranks a member of the CUNY Board of Trustees from 2009-2011 as well as University Student Senate Chairperson, former student government undergraduate and graduate presidents, student government members, IGC vice-president and treasurer, election commissioners, campus-wide committee members, club presidents, vice-presidents, treasurers, secretaries, etc., and will continue to be a model of leadership. The Chapter works to improve itself, its members, and the Brooklyn College community.
