NAMI On Campus at Hunter College

NAMI On Campus at Hunter College Working towards reducing the stigma on mental illness within our Hunter College community and New York City.

NAMI On Campus is the campus extension of the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Chapters of NAMI On Campus exist on university and college campuses across the country and we're happy to be able to bring the mission of NAMI to Hunter Colleg

e. Our goal is to raise mental health awareness at Hunter, help reduce the stigma of mental illness, and encourage a healthy discussion on various mental health topics. We also hope to work to foster a supportive community at Hunter and to increase awareness of the mental health services available on campus.
