Pi Sigma Alpha JJay Chapter Alpha Theta Theta Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha- The National Political Science Honor Society John Jay College of Criminal Justice

In 2011, the Political Science Department at John Jay decided to create a chapter of PSA to honor our best students and to create a political science community at John Jay. Our chapter, Alpha Theta Theta, inducted its first class of students in 2012. We are proud to see our chapter growing every day, welcoming the best political science students at John Jay. Our members share their passion to poli

tical science and justice issues in every step that they take, creating a community that aims to expand the academic experience outside the classroom, through debate, conversation, active engagement with the community, and open exchange of ideas.

Join us in our movie night! On next Wednesday, November 14 at Room L2.70.13 NB from 7-9pm, we will be screening the film "The Candidate" directed by Michael Ritchie.
This classic examines the various facets and machinations involved in political campaigns as it captures the political absurdity that campaign periods carry with them.

Robert Redford plays as Bill McKay, an idealistic attorney running for office in this marvellous, biting, satire on media-age political campaigns. McKay is a candidate for the U.S. Senate from California. He has no hope of winning, so he is willing to tweak the establishment. Will he succeed?

We look foward to see you there! Food will be served before the movie begins.
