The Office of Student Life in conjunction with the Student Government Association, Womxn Up! And Public Safety would like to invite you to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence by joining us for Denim Day: Empower U – Student Resources and Wellness Forum on April 30th from 12-2 p.m. on RBSC 211.

Wear denim with a purpose and help raise awareness about the importance of consent, respect, and support for survivors. We will also be joined by community-based organizations to discuss wellness and other resources available to the Bronx community.

The Office of Student Life would like to invite you to join us for an important and empowering Hate Crimes Prevention Workshop designed to educate, protect, and strengthen our community, hosted by the Muslim Community Network.

• Understanding what constitutes a hate crime
• How to recognize and report incidents safely
• Resources available for victims and families
• Strategies to promote inclusion and prevent hate in our communities
