The Rho-Beta Chapter was chartered on December 5th, 2009. Kappa Sigma quickly became one of the top Fraternities on the St. John's campus by recruiting intelligent and capable leaders. We are the most diverse IFC Fraternity on campus, something we value immensely as an organization. As a group of men constantly working to learn and better ourselves, we understand that everyone we meet has somethin
g to teach us. As a Social organization we have many social events on-campus and off with other organizations both Greek and non-Greek. We strive to build a solid reputation with the St. While having a good time of course. Seeing as St. John's University is our home, we feel it necessary to give back. We contribute some of the most service hours to the school and surrounding community. We also raise thousands of dollars a year for our Philanthropy, the Military Heroes Campaign, and for Relay for Life which we participate in as a top-contributing org. Finally the brotherhood itself is our utmost concern. We brothers of the Kappa Sigma Rho-Beta Chapter firmly believe that this is a family and like any family we look after each other, defend each other, and work to better one another in every way we can. If you would like to become a member do not be afraid to go up to a brother and simply ask what you can do to make it happen. Just remember, we are not here to make the below-average just average.
