The Liberal Studies Student Council is the voice of the students within Liberal Studies. We work closely with the Liberal Studies administration in help making sure that Liberal Studies students' needs are being addressed. The Student Council Executive Board is comprised of elected Liberal Studies students. The Council organizes and plans free activities throughout the academic year. There are tra

ditional events that are planned each year such as Broadway Shows, Movie Nights, Free Dinners, the End-of-the-Year Celebration, among others. The Council instituted the Liberal Studies Students' Excellence in Teaching Award in which Liberal Studies students can nominate a professor. The Liberal Studies Student Council also plays an active role in welcoming new students every fall to the Washington Square campus.

The United Sikh Association (USA) is a religious and cultural organization driven to foster an on-campus community that spreads awareness of the Sikh religion and inspires all to engage in community service. We aim to achieve these goals through religious, cultural, and social activities open to the entire NYU community. Sign up on the club roster and contact [email protected] for more information!

Last week there was a display of anti-abortion images in front of the Bobst Library that were graphic, incendiary, and triggering to our university's community. We plan to gather this Thursday to demonstrate that NYU stands for the autonomy one undeniably deserves to have over their own body. Please join us on the last day of Women's History Month to rally that women's rights are human's rights, but more succinctly that reproductive rights are human rights. Bring a sign, bring a friend, and bring your voice! We will also be distributing free contraceptives.
