Ashley Villalva ’26 (CSI) is graduating with a 3.9 GPA and is the Salutatorian of the College of Staten Island. Ashley was the Student Body President, and she has accepted an offer to work full-time at State Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton’s office as a Community Liaison. She hopes to pursue law in the near future.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Macaulay community gathered at Cipriani 25 Broadway in Manhattan to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 25th Anniversary Gala of Macaulay Honors College. ✨ Take a look back at an unforgettable evening! 🎥

Hosted by Dean Dara N. Byrne, Gala Chair Megan Megale, and the Macaulay Honors College Foundation Board, the evening brought together alumni, students, faculty, parents, donors, retired CUNY leaders, and friends to honor the college’s extraordinary first 25 years — and to look ahead to an even brighter future.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and commitment of the Macaulay community, the gala raised more than $715,000 in support of the Opportunities Fund, which empowers students to pursue transformative experiences including study abroad programs, unpaid internships, and research assistantships in prestigious laboratories and institutions. 🌟
