Celebrating Latinx Excellence! ✨👏🏽

A huge congratulations to our fellow Elon Latinx Hispanic Alumni Network member, Lilly Molina ’27, an Odyssey Scholar and Communications Fellow, for being selected as a 2025 Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow! As a student media leader at Elon News Network and a contributor to La Noticia, Lilly will use this prestigious fellowship to investigate illegal hammerhead shark fishing off the coast of Costa Rica.

We are so proud to see our alumni making an impact in journalism and global issues. Felicidades, Lilly! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!

When Anahy Felipe de la Cruz stepped into New York City, she faced challenges many first-gen Latinas know too well, no connections, no internship, and an uphill climb. But with resilience, comunidad, and the support of the ELHAN Latinx Fund, she turned barriers into opportunities!

🌟 From applying to 50+ internships to securing a cybersecurity & AI research position, Anahy proved that Latinas belong in tech.

🌎 She navigated NYC solo, attended Latinas in Tech networking events, and visited top companies like JP Morgan & Figma ,all while growing her confidence as a future leader.
