d the wide range of beautiful landscapes make India one of the most rewarding countries to explore. Brooklyn College Study Abroad India: Documentary Production and Cultural Studies will provide CUNY and non-CUNY students with a rewarding, life transforming experience that complements any academic program . Students will learn about north and south Indian cultures, religions, history and cinemas, with excursions to major cultural, historical and religious sights in Delhi, Agra, Hyderabad, Madurai, and Chennai. Throughout the program CUNY students will have numerous opportunities to interact with Indian university and college students. The production component of the course will take place in Hyderabad - the gateway between north and south India. Students will collaborate on documentary productions with Indian university students at Mahendra Ecole Centrale and Ramoji Film City. Through a series of workshops, lectures, screenings and tech sessions, students will learn and experience the diversity of Indian cinemas - including: documentary, Bollywood-style, and multi-camera studio productions. All production work will take place at the Ramoji Film City complex - "the largest studio complex in the world", according to the Guiness Book of World Records. Studying Abroad in India will truly be an experience of a lifetime. Brooklyn College Study Abroad India: Documentary Production and Cultural Studies is a 21 day program offering a meaningful combination of lectures, field trips, documentary production work and sightseeing.
