A HUGE congratulations to one of our newest adjunct faculty members Rena Butler for being on the cover of Dance Magazine’s newest issue. So amazing to read about her creativity and incredible journey as an artist! Beyond excited to watch Rena’s newest work with The Gibney Company premiering at The Joyce in just a week!

• Recently reviewed by The New York Times’ Siobhan Burke, ‘​​The choreographer Richard Move’s new work, partly inspired by Japanese, Indian and Greek mythology, wends its way across Governors Island’. This site-specific work choreographed by Assistant Arts Professor and NYU Alum Richard Move will run again on Saturday October, 16, 2021 (rain date is Sunday October 17). 4th time is a charm!!!
▫️After postponing their wedding three times due to Covid-19, Finally on September 5th, Tisch MFA 2020 graduate Kellyn Mylechreest married her husband, Edward Mylechreest in a joyful celebration at the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center in staten Island.
Joined by family and friends it was also a wonderful reunion of the MFA and MA/MFA class of 2020, Kellyn’s co-hort who haven’t seen each other since their last semester was cut-off by the pandemic lock down.

▫️What a wonderful reunion and celebration. Congrats to the newly weds !!

We are so grateful to have Yin Yue back in the building teaching our 3rd year students and setting new work for our first performance of the year!
