Alpha Epsilon Phi is a national sorority founded in 1909 at Barnard College by seven Jewish women who had a dream of forming a sorority where exceptional women of all backgrounds, religions, interests and varying beliefs would be welcomed with open arms. AEPhi prizes individuality, encouraging each member to discover and develop the talents and abilities that make her unique. But just as we value

individuality, we also prize togetherness, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging that last a lifetime. When you're an AEΦ, you'll find there's always a sister to laugh when you laugh, to listen when you talk, to lend a hand and be there for you. Phi Phacts:

For the second year in a row, the Zeta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi is excited to announce that an anonymous donor will match our sorority's final fundraising total. At this point, we have raised nearly $64,000 and are on-track to raise $85,000 to fight childhood cancer.

By supporting The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, our sisters have provided hope for numerous families across the country... But thanks to this match, we have the potential to help so many more moms, dads, and siblings. Additionally, the Zeta chapter has an opportunity to make history by becoming the highest-raising group that B+ has ever seen. We are incredibly proud to be involved with this organization, and will continue to fight until every kid has the chance to grow up.

This is our newest little sister and B+ Hero, Lauren! Lauren is 4 years old and is currently fighting her second battle of Rhabdomyosarcoma. Lauren has been through more in her short 4 years than most people will experience in their whole lives. Yet, Lauren is one of the lucky kids because she is going to have the fierce support of 140+ big sisters!

On Monday night, we welcomed back 7 generations of past AEPhi Zeta Presidents and 5 generations of NYDM Directors to chapter as we heard from our sister, and former President, Alyssa Fein. Alyssa shared with us how much being a member of our chapter means to her, her strong connection to NYDM and The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, and how all three groups have even stronger meaning in her life now as she fights her own battle.

We were inspired by Alyssa's strength and poise as well as the close knit community of leaders and friends formed by our chapter. On Monday, we were able to see the true gift of sorority shine through.

We are preparing to once again participate in NYDM, the 12 hour dance marathon at NYU to fight childhood cancer. This year, it has even more meaning than ever before. We will dance for all the kids touched by childhood cancer, for our B+ Hero, Gabby, and especially for our sister, Alyssa.

Please support us in our efforts:
