Mayor Zohran Mamdani plans to open a limited number of public grocery stores across the five boroughs, and Nobel-Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz sees reason for optimism. It's an "important initiative," he says.

AI can make good performers better. But what happens to everyone else?
