The Office of Special Programs at New York University Tisch School of the Arts was established in September 2000. Tisch Special Programs, as we’ve become known over the years, incorporates all the programs at Tisch which serve various audiences, including Tisch students, non-majors/NYU students, visiting college students, high school students, and adult learners. Our programs include: Tisch Study
Abroad (during the academic year and summer terms), Spring at Tisch, January Term, Minors, Professional Courses, Tisch Summer in New York City, the Spring Future Artists program for NYC-area high school students, and the Tisch Summer High School Program. Our mission is to provide students with a global perspective on the arts through local cultural immersion opportunities and international conservatory training; to provide non-majors access to cross disciplinary arts core and craft production courses; and to create a space for the development of interdisciplinary arts programming for students of different disciplines.
