Professor Paulicelli will explore how the Italian Fascist regime used fashion to embody its ideology, reshaping the fashion and textile industries and playing a key role in Italy’s rise to global prominence in fashion.

Professor Paulicelli is a leading scholar in Italian and Comparative Literature, Film and Media Cultures, and Women’s and Gender Studies, and she teaches at Queens College and The Graduate Center (CUNY).
