We and .ea will be hosting Dr. Faraz Harsini, a bioprocessing senior scientist at the Good Food Institute and the CEO of Allied Scholars for Animal Protection (ASAP), on Monday, April 17th at 8:15pm. Everyone is welcome to join! Dinner will be provided.

If you’re interested in human health, racial injustice, or protecting the environment, come join our exclusive virtual event with Dr. Milton Mills on April 11th at 8pm EST (registration link is in our bio)!

More info:

Dr. Milton Mills graduated from Stanford Medical College and has spent decades delivering medical and nutrition education in addition to being a clinical practitioner.

He has also published many papers including in association with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and The USDA regarding Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

In addition, he is also an expert in these three areas:

Health: Dr. Mills is a renowned health expert, has participated in government hearings on healthcare, appeared in multiple documentaries, published in many journals, and is a practicing clinician.

Environmentalism: Dr. Mills is unique in how he interprets issues through the lens of environmental racism.

Racial injustice: Dr. Mills has a deep understanding of the systemic racial injustice that continues to plague many minority communities. As an African American and as a physician to many African Americans, Dr. Mills has a unique way of analyzing racial injustice by illustrating how aspects such as health & environment are often affected by it.

How is it already time for our end-of-semester event? Take a break from studying and join us for Oatnog & Chill: a Gingerbread house making competition! There will be prizes, so bring your best gingerbread house building skills!

If you have any non-perishable food items laying around as you’re getting ready to head home for the holidays, bring them to us! We will be donating them to The Food Pantry at Columbia.

Thanks to , we’ll get to try vegan egg nog. Find them at Westside Market to get your hands on their variety of milk alternatives, including almond milk, pistachio milk, oat nog, and more.
