The official Marymount Manhattan College Psychology Department Page. The Psychology Department is located on the 7th floor of Carson Hall.

MMC’s Psychology major covers all aspects of human behavior – developmental, cognitive, emotional and social. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking skills and scientific methodology. Courses are offered in a wide range of fields including clinical, forensic, behavioral neuroscience, experimental, social and developmental. Our curriculum is not limited to the classroom. Field placements and a

pplied clinical and research opportunities are available. The Psychology major prepares you for graduate study in many related fields, including clinical psychology, developmental psychology, forensic psychology, neuroscience social psychology, behavioral research, and social work. Educated at MMC to be a well-rounded individual, you are prepared with the research and problem-solving skills required to meet the challenges and demands of today’s ever-changing marketplace.
