From 2008 to­ 2016, Jeff Burke was the Director of Custom Framing & Shipping for Axelle Frames. where he managed the framing operations and worked with renowned artists including: Michel Delacroix, Albert Hadjiganev, Francois Bard, and Russel Young. Due to the tragic and untimely death of Bertrand Delacroix, Axelle Fine Arts closed its doors permanently in March 2016. In the following months, Jef

Boerum Frames LTD is committed to providing Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, and and all Brooklyn neighborhoods (Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, Gowanus, Fort Greene, and others) with the same quality custom framing that Axelle Frames’ clients were accustomed to receiving. Our mission is to exceed our clients’ expectations in service, craftsmanship, knowledge, price, and professionalism. About Jeff Burke

Jeff Burke has been custom framing since 1998. He has framed notable pieces including a Rembrandt Silverpoint drawing, and paintings by modern day icons including: Henri Matisse, Tom Wesselmann, Damien Hirst, Banksy, and many others. Burke received a degree in Painting and Art History from University of Wisconsin-­Milwaukee and is an accomplished artist of his own. on typically you wouldn’t frame a canvas or wood panel artworks behind glass or in shadow boxes. Occasionally clients still want UV protection so we float mounted this using conservation clear glass and 1” shadow box spacers.

Shichiro Imatake work on sketchbook paper. Shichiro Imatake (1905 - 2000) was a Japanese graphic designer who was often referred to as the father of modern Japanese design. While his name may not be as well-known as some other Japanese artists, his works reached many households - one of his designs was for the O'Band brand of rubber bands.
