St. Francis College MFA Program in Creative Writing The Writing Program at St. Francis College is devoted to the pursuit of the literary arts rooted in the vibrant community of downtown Brooklyn.

The FIRST and ONLY low-residency MFA program in New York at St. Francis College Brooklyn. The 10-day residency period involves intensive workshops with our renowned faculty. Our NYC location means we bring the publishing industry to our students, hosting daily roundtables and panel discussions with top agents, editors and publishers. Our 6 to 1 student to faculty ratio offers an intimate, focused environment for aspiring writers to flourish in downtown Brooklyn.
