Congratulations to MSM Musical Theatre alumna Jasmine Amy Rogers! 🎶👏 She's starring as Maria von Trapp in next season’s revival of The Sound of Music at Lincoln Center Theater (LCT); previews are set for March 23, 2027, opening night on April 15. The production will be directed by LCT Artistic Director Lear deBessonet, who directed the current LCT production Ragtime that earlier this month won the Tony Award for best musical revival. [The 1930s map shows the East 105th Street location in relation to the surrounding area.]

On This Date in 1994 and 2003: A memorial concert [1994] is held for composer, conductor, faculty member, and alumnus Nicolas Flagello (March 15, 1928 – March 16, 1994); and a fundraiser [2003] at the St. Regis Roof features Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley under the direction of Paul Gemignani.
