Insomnium Theatre Company is the brainchild of Lauren Harris and Felicia Lobo, who are both recent graduates of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. They found each other at The Atlantic Acting School and have been collaborating on projects there and around NYU over the past year. Felicia and Lauren were brought together by their love of horror, feeling the theater needed to explore this

genre further. So, the duo set out to create dark, mystical, sometimes horrific theater that would keep their audiences up at night, searching for answers. Insomnium encourages their audiences to lean forward and participate in the collaborative, adrenaline pumping art form that they cannot get from their laptops or TV screens. Their first full-length production was The Love of the Nightingale by Timberlake Wertenbaker at The Alchemical Theatre Lab.
