Happy New Year from the MA/MAT Art Education team! If your new year's resolution is to make a difference in the world, then apply to the Art Educarion program . Our deadline for Fall 2026 applications are next week on January 15th. Our programs in Art Education provide artists with structural and real world tools to thrive in the classroom from experts in the field. Artists finish the program with an artist educator website, job interview preparation, an arts-based thesis, and a culminating exhibition in the Flatiron district. Now is your chance to bring your artistic skills to the classroom to support future artists.

This Saturday, November 8th, the SVA Graduate departments are hosting an in-person Info Session and Portfolio Review. Come meet with our chair, Dr. Cathy Rosamond to discuss the curriculum of the MA/MAT Art Education department, the application process, and more! We will be at the SVA Graduate Center from 11 am - 5 pm.
