Congratulations Natalie Barbee-Brava (MFA Fine Arts) on her recent show 👏👏👏

Reposted • My heart is filled with gratitude. I live for moments like yesterday, where the dialogue about my work flows freely. I met some amazing artists who are also part of the Memento show, and I am in awe of their skills and work.

Thank you to galerielucida for creating a very special space in Red Bank, NJ for the arts.

A heartfelt thanks to for taking the road trip with me.

And last but certainly not least, thank you to everyone that came out to show their support for the arts!

Congratulations to CCNY MFA in Fine Arts alum Natali Bravo-Barbee on her solo exhibition Femicide Florals/Flores de Femicidio at the Mattatuck Museum!

February 12, 2023 – April 30, 2023
Flores de Femicidio / Femicide Florals is Natali Bravo-Barbee’s ongoing memorial for women in her native Argentina. There were 327 femicides in 2019 in Argentina alone. She begins by researching each woman’s story and gathering an archive for each victim that includes media stories and traces found on social media. Flores de Femicidio es un monumento permanente de Natali Bravo-Barbee para las mujeres asesinadas en su país natal Argentina. Solo en Argentina hubieron 327 feminicidios en 2019.
