On Thursday, April 30th, the Alpha Xi Chapter was named the University of Delaware’s Interfraternity Council Chapter of the Year!

This award is a testament to the hard work, leadership, and dedication of every brother in our chapter.

We would also like to recognize the brothers who represented our chapter at the FSLL Awards Ceremony and accepted the awards on behalf of our entire organization:

Last Thursday, our brother Chris DeSantis represented the Alpha Xi Chapter of Theta Chi at the Delaware State House as part of a panel discussion hosted by the Delaware Legislative Women’s Caucus. Chris was invited by Representative Romer to speak about the work that is being done on campus to educate and develop men through respect, accountability, and leadership.

Chris spoke about programs such as Blue Hens Care, upstander training, and the value of building strong relationships with sororities through philanthropy and partnership. By providing an environment where open dialogue can take place, we can continue to build our community and strive to prepare our men for life after college.

With the start of the spring semester coming up, we want to highlight some exciting things our brothers were up to during this winter session!
1. Brother Stephen Petersen went skiing down Big Jay Mountain in Vermont.
2. Brothers Owen Dell’Accio, Jack Kane, and Matt Vanderydt took a trip to Dublin in the midst of their study abroad in Italy.
3. Brother Gerrit Elliman was iguana hunting in Palm Beach.
4. Two of our new members, Shawn Ryan and Luke Ellis, went to watch the Eagles vs. 49ers game.
5. Brothers Aidan Peters, James Babb, Chris DelPonte, Jackson Koury, Bo Gravuer, Joe Corradino, Alex Wieliczko, and alumnus brother Jacob Briggs went skiing in New Hampshire.
6. Brother Collin Custance went ice fishing on Loon Lake, in upstate New York.
7. Brother Brendan Bonner studied abroad in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain.
8. Brother Alex Wieliczko went skiing in the French Alps.
9. Brother Brian Altobelli attended a workshop at Evercore ISI where he receivered professional hep building his resume, networking skills, and learned about investment banking.
10. Brother James Babb, was breaking pop-a-shot records in Tampa. Congrats James!
