Hello University Associate,

I would like to make you aware of an excellent opportunity for your students involved in thermosetting polymer research to enhance their visibility and exposure for future employment.

The Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) is an association made up of the most important formulators and major suppliers to the thermoset industry. TRFA is pleased to announce the 2025 Annual Excellence in Thermoset Polymer Research Award to encourage and recognize advances in the science and engineering of the thermoset polymer industry.

The student submitting the winning research paper will receive:
A $1500 cash award and an award plaque.
An invitation to present the winning paper at the TRFA Annual Meeting with complimentary registration for one person. This is a valuable opportunity to network with representatives of the most important companies in the thermoset industry.
Two nights of complimentary accommodation at TRFA’s Annual Meeting hotel.
Additional travel allowance for one person of up to $500.
The winning and runner-up papers will be posted on the TRFA members-only website (providing students exposure to major companies for possible recruitment opportunities).

We encourage you to inform your students of this excellent opportunity as soon as possible. Entry forms must be received by April 11, 2025, with the research paper due not later than May 9, 2025, to be considered. All research paper submissions will be reviewed by TRFA’s Academic Panel. Information about last year’s award is available at the following link: TRFA Thermoset Polymer Research Award
