With only 1 day to go, AUA President Dr. Peter Bell toured campus today to review progress on the changeover for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026, which Antigua and Barbuda is hosting.

Halls have been cleared and reconfigured, and the team walked through the grounds, entrances and parking areas to make sure everything is ready to host delegates. Helping host a gathering of this scale is a privilege and reflects AUA’s commitment to the nation we call home.

Over 500 volunteers from around the island of Antigua and the world, gathered in classroom 5 today for the Volunteer Orientation Meeting. It's people like this that make the daunting task of putting on a CHOGM event, a lot easier. We thank all the volunteers who are making this event flow so smoothly. Let's amaze the world!
