Aborigena Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. The Aborigena Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. was founded in 1991 at Rutgers University-Newark. Sophisticated Ladies of the BabyBlue & White

Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. was founded on November 21, 1981 at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Five Latina women came together with one common goal: To Unite All Women. This beautiful organization has expanded to several states and boasts over 51 chapters (and counting)! MuWark is comprised of two chapters of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc.:

The Las Conquistadoras Chapter-NJIT (1989)

&

The Aborigena Chapter-Rutgers Newark (1991)

The name "MuWark" was created by the sisters of these chapters as a way to refer to the both chapters at the same time, because we are INSEPERABLE! If you are looking for a loving family, you have found one! Feel free to look around the site and make sure to leave us your comments!

Celebrating the 35 years of the Aborigena Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated at Rutgers University–Newark 🩵🏹

Since April 17, 1991, and thanks to our founder, Ana Ramirez, who brought the vision to life, this chapter has stood as a symbol of strength, unity, and sisterhood.

From then to now, the legacy continues through every sister who carries the values, the pride, and the purpose forward.
