🎓Celebrating TCAT Northwest Adult Education Graduates at Lauderdale County Jail 🎓

This past December, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the Lauderdale County Jail Adult Education students. While Adult Education classes have been offered at the facility for many years, this marked the first graduation ceremony held in many years, making it an especially meaningful milestone.

Congratulations to all graduates, past and present, on your hard work, dedication, and commitment to personal growth and education. Your achievements matter, and we are so proud of you. A heartfelt thank you to Captain Kevin Haislip and Sheriff Brian Kelley for their continued partnership and support of Adult Education within the Lauderdale County Jail.

Special appreciation goes to the Tcat Northwest Adult Education Corrections Instructor/Assistant Director- Michelle Walker, and to the Adult Education Program Director Monica Mack for the leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to providing opportunities that truly make a difference.

Education opens doors, and this graduation is a powerful reminder that it is never too late to learn, grow, and succeed.

The instructor interacts with students and provides instruction and registration/intake-related services for potential and current students. Congratulations to the participants of the Compudot Pathways Technology Training. This pathways learning experience enabled participants to explore various careers in technology while equipping them with digital and technical skills applicable to both education and the workforce. At the programs completion, each student earned a free laptop and adjoining services.

Special thanks to the American Job Center-Ripley for allowing us to host classes, also to Instructor-Mr. Steven Payment for facilitating the classes. Awesome job, everyone.
