The Eta Beta chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority has been a part of the Newberry College family since April 12th,1997. We currently have 41 sisters in our chapter. Our national colors are royal purple and pearl white, and our local color is gold. Our gem is the pearl and our flower is the purple violet. We are a sisterhood moving steadfast and ever forward. Our mission is to establish among its
members a perpetual bond of friendship, to develop in them strong womanly character, and to impress upon them high standards of conduct. We are dedicated to our community on and off campus. We participate in philanthropic work through Sigma Serves Children, Robbie Page Memorial and March of Dimes. Every year we hold events, such as; Crush, Semi Formal, Formal, Mixers with the fraternities on campus, Rainbows for Robbie, Greek Week, Founders Day, Premature Awareness Month, March for Babies, Homecoming, Character Counts Week, Philanthropy Week and many more. Every year we fly out two of our sisters to the Dunham Women of Character Institute and Prevention Institute in different states for a weekend. We also support and empower our peers at sporting events, recitals and organization meetings and events. Our sisters are also members of sports teams and different organizations on campus. We take pride in our GPAs and strive to take control of our education. We are happy to be a part of the Newberry College community. Go Greek and Go Wolves!
