As the spring semester comes to a close, SDEC is hosting one final council meeting to wrap everything up. Meet us in DSU Washington at 1pm this Sunday, April 24th to reflect on all the fun events and activities we’ve had with an end of the year celebration!

SDEC and .asu are honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by presenting the last PEER event of the spring semester! Despite AAPI Heritage Month actually being commemorated in the month of May, we are celebrating the observance in April ahead of the conclusion of the school year.

Come out THIS MONDAY, April 18th at 5:30pm in DSU Harrison as we recognize the many contributions Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans have made to the history, culture, and achievements of the U.S. We will also discuss the story of how ASU started four years ago at CNU and the work the organization is doing to increase cultural awareness and understanding. We hope you will join us!

Got any lunch plans tomorrow? Stay or stop by to grab a bite of Asian cuisine with .asu and SDEC TOMORROW, Tuesday, April 5, from 11am - 3pm in the DSU Washington room for our second Taste of Asia event!

We will have a range of cultural dishes from Asia and learn about the continent's many different cooking practices and traditions. Dishes range from miso soup and sushi to butter chicken and fried rice.

Who are some of your favorite inspirational women in history? How can you empower the women in your life? How can we make the future stronger for women?

These are just a few of the questions that will be discussed at our PEER event with THIS MONDAY, March 21st at 5:30pm in DSU Monroe as a tribute to March being Women’s History Month.

We will discuss related topics to WHM such as its traditions, gender equality, and feminism as well as share stories of women who have inspired us with their activism. Don’t miss out on this uplifting event!

In honor of March being Women’s History Month, SDEC has teamed up with to bring you our annual Women’s History Month Photo Series that is dedicated to showcasing the amazing women we have on CNU campus.

Women’s History Month commemorates women’s vital role in American history and culture. What began as a one week celebration grew into a national annual declared month!

Share and reflect on the meaning of this important month by participating in our photo series TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 15 and this Thursday, March 17 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Bell Tower. Sign up forms can be found using the LINK IN BIO! We hope you can join us!
