As promised, and HIGHLY requested…Salve S.A.V.E.S. and the Office of Safety and Security are excited to announce our new rendition of classes for the Spring Semester!

All classes will be held in the Ochre Court State Dining Room on the first floor. We ask that you are free and available for all three courses and if not, we will be continuing to offer more courses in the semesters to follow for you to attend.

This past week, there have been Red Flags posted outside on the front lawn at Gerety! Hopefully many of you got a chance to go by and read more about the campaign! Please see the images to learn more about and recognize ‘red flags’ in intimate partner relationships. I’m more news, the U.N. has announced their annual International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Starting on November 25th, the United Nations will be continuing their International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The 2021 Theme is- ORANGE the World: End Violence against Women Now! 🧡

The events of activism will be 16 days ending on December 10th. There will be several public events and national landmarks “oranged” in support to create a violence free future!

The campaign is focused on eliminating the violence against women and girls through:

- Intimate partner violence
- Sexual violence and harassment
- Human trafficking
- Female ge***al mutilation
- Child marriage

Join Salve S.A.V.E.S. and the Office of Safety and Security in a women’s self defense class! Learn tips and tricks to stay safe on and off campus, how to defend yourself and have fun! Located in Ochre Court on the first floor inside the State Dining Room.
