The best of the best. ☘️💔

Two days ago we lost one of our firefighters. His name is Captain Patrick Crowley, he died at home.
The Captain served this city for many years with honor, passion, and courage. He had the utmost respect from all members of the department. The Captain was the person that other firefighters went to to help them cope with the pressures of the job or their personal lives.
Our prayers and condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
City flags will be flown at half staff through interment.
Warwick is a very tight knit community and I know we will all mourn this tremendous loss together. We will be here for any needs that the family might have. I know many of you will want to help so I will keep you informed if there are any collections or fundraising efforts.
The members of the WFD are devastated by the loss of one of their own. If you see them out and about, at a station, in a truck, etc. give them a wave or a honk on the horn to show your support. They can use it right now.

Free Money Friday: UNCF Koch Scholars
Deadline: May 14, 2018

The UNCF Koch Scholars Program provides students selected to receive the scholarship, up to $5,000 a year in support of their undergraduate study, in addition to mentoring opportunities, an online learning community, and an annual summit conference. African-American seniors in high school and first year college students with a minimum 2.7 GPA are eligible to apply.
