A new national survey released today from Salve Regina University’s Pell Center examined Americans' perceptions of the health of U.S. democracy, support for democratic norm violations, and the role authoritarian attitudes play in shaping those views.

The survey polled 2,034 registered voters and found Americans with the strongest authoritarian attitudes are the most likely to support changing election rules, censoring media sources, and ignoring court decisions.
