Daniel Hodoroaba, a former student and current orchestra member, will present his capstone project, “The Anatomy of Audio: How Music Shapes Human Physiology.” This engaging talk explores how music acts as a universal language, triggering chemical, physiological, and neurological responses, impacting everything from mood and stress to brain function and overall health.

The presentation will last approximately 20 minutes, including a brief Q&A. This capstone is part of Daniel’s graduation requirements. Let’s show our support and learn something new!

Last Saturday we were honored to present Birthday of a King, celebrating the King of Kings through music that lifted hearts and reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas.

A heartfelt thank you to the Romanian Baptist Church of Chicago, its pastors and elders, for graciously hosting us and allowing our concert to take place in their beautiful space. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Consul General of Romania in Chicago, His Excellency Lucian Stănică, for joining us and for addressing us with such kind words. We were honored by his presence and grateful for the distinction it brought to our event.

Special thanks to all our pastors, conductors, musicians, volunteers, and our wonderful LCA Senior Choir and LCA Elementary Choir - along with the supportive parents who make everything possible. We also extend our gratitude to all the LCA and LSM teachers who were directly involved and those who supported from the sidelines. Your support makes a tremendous difference. Thank you!

✨ It’s a new school year, and after last week’s events we realize more than ever how deeply we need the Lord’s protection and guidance. 🙏 We place our trust in His hand, knowing He is faithful.

We invite you to join us for a special Service of Dedication, as together we commit this school year to the Lord, asking for His blessing, protection, and favor over our students, families, and teachers. 💙

💙 💙 The LSM community is close-knit and deeply connected —it’s a family. And when one of us suffers, we all carry the burden together.

Right now, one of our board members is walking through an incredibly difficult time. His nephew, Levi Anton (20), suffered a critical, life-threatening injury and is fighting for his life.

This is where we step in—as a family of faith and compassion—to surround them with love and support. At the same time, we humbly ask for your help.
