The First Year Success Program helps new students with various resources to succeed here at Tidewater Community College and ensure students are on the correct path to learn how to become a successful college student. First Year Success program helps new students to improve learning and achieve academic success with: New student Orientation, Academic Advising, Declaring a program, Engaging in campus life, SDV workshops, while providing motivation and encouragement.
