🇺🇸 Today at Joint Forces Staff College, we came together to honor the United States Marine Corps on its 249th birthday! 🎉 For nearly two and a half centuries, the Marines have stood as steadfast guardians of our nation’s freedom. 🦅🌎⚓

As we celebrate the Corps’ birthday this year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the legacy forged in blood on battlefields since 1775. From the shores of Tripoli to today’s front lines, the Marines continue to uphold their commitment to “Semper Fidelis” — always faithful. 🫡💪

Happy Birthday, Marines! 🎂🎖️🇺🇸

General LaCamera currently commands United Nations Command, ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea, where he continues to build upon his dedication, service, and partnership across the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

A West Point graduate, General LaCamera has led at every level—from platoon to corps—and has served alongside members of all military branches, coalition partners, and inter-agency colleagues. His experiences include deployments in Panama, Haiti, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, reflecting his unwavering commitment to global stability and security.

Hearing his insights today reminded us of the courage and dedication it takes to serve and lead in today’s complex world.
