Our very own Marleen Viola, C-TAGME was named the recipient of the “Program Coordinator of the Year Award” from the Association of Program Coordinators in Radiology (APCR) at their most recent annual meeting. This is the most prestigious honor given by this national organization. We’re so proud of you!

Marleen is a former President of the APCR, and she was also the first recipient of the Program Coordinator of the Year Award here at EVMS.

We had 7 residents who excelled on the ACR In-Service Exam this year by getting an overall score at or above the 80th percentile. 6 of them actually scored above 90th percentile. Special congrats go to Taylor Pate-- who scored in the 100th percentile! They received an award at the graduation ceremony 🏆

It was good to restart our traditional annual mixer after orientation on July 1st, where the new R1’s get to meet their faculty mentors as well as socialize with their new co-residents.

The fully vaccinated Ladiologists (Women in Radiology) group had their first meeting post-pandemic. It was great to see everyone catching up, including attendings, residents, and an incoming medical student!
