Today we observe Flag Day, marking the anniversary of the adoption of the United States flag in 1777.
As we recognize this day, we reflect on the history of the American flag and its place in communities across the country.

Connections like these are what make the Monarch community so special. A conversation at last week's ODUAA Board Social revealed yet another example of how ODU alumni continue to impact one another's lives, both on campus and in the community.
