Ashley is spending her summer helping students build confidence with their finances! ☀️💸

This summer, Ashley will be working with the Redbird Flight Plan, a wellness initiative focused on promoting financial literacy and reducing money stress for students. This program aims to build stronger financial wellness resources for the upcoming school years.

In her role, Ashley will be researching best practices for wellness programming, helping provide financial resources for students, and assisting in the design of financial literacy modules. She’ll also be helping plan a future “Financial Literacy Week” coming this fall! ✈️📚

We’re excited to see the impact Ashley will make through this important work! ❤️🐦

Savannah is spending her summer supporting Student Transitions alongside Asiah Claiborne, working in orientation at UT Dallas! As a special projects intern, she’ll be helping bring together the extra pieces that make programs stand out, from career services events to experiences that support both families and incoming students.

✨ GRAD Day 2026 Recap ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s CSPA GRAD Day! It was incredible to connect with admitted students, current students, and campus partners throughout the day.

This event was especially meaningful as it marked the first in-person GRAD Day since 2021, and the energy, conversations, and community on display made it a huge success.

A special thank you to our campus and community partners who took the time to share graduate assistantship and practicum opportunities and connect with our students. Your support helps make the CSPA experience possible.

Siobhan serves as the Program Student Advisor in the Technology Department, where she supports students in navigating their academic journeys.

🐱 Fun facts: Siobhan has two cats, has traveled to seven different countries, and is currently learning Japanese with hopes of visiting Japan one day!

Gwynneth serves as the Marketing Graduate Assistant for Campus Recreation and transferred into the CSPA program this spring. She’s SO excited to be here! She completed her undergraduate degree at UIUC, earning a B.S. in Psychology & Communication 📚
Fun fact: Gwynneth and her fiancé have two cats named after Greek deities: Gaia & Eros 🐱
