This was SUCH a fun project that the students in Quantity Foods completed yesterday! All semester, students have been working to convert a home recipe into a standardized recipe, cost it out, and then PREPARE it for 50+ people at Home Sweet Home Ministries! On the menu: breaded parmesan chicken, fettuccine noodles with homemade parmesan alfredo sauce, roasted veggies, caprese salad, and whoopie pies with a raspberry creme filling!

I'm looking forward to seeing what next semester's students come up with!

Great organization that benefits our students! Consider donating!

Back to school means we need help stocking our pantry! This week we are in need of canned tomatoes, boxed cereal and soap / body wash. Donations can be dropped off inside Normal First United Methodist Church (211 N. School St., Normal, IL) between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except noon to 1:00 pm) Monday – Friday by the main office at Door G, located on the west side of the building.
