The third strategic objective of my plan focuses on "Signature Brand". Over the last several years, we have experienced unprecedented growth in our brand image as an organization. From our historic partnership with USA Swimming, our monumental donation of 1 million dollars to St. Jude, the Sigma Lean, and even STM, people know and recognize Sigma Women across the globe! How does that brand image translate on our college campuses? Sigma image goes beyond appearance. It's the partnerships and programs that we put out too! What is your chapter known for on your campus? What signature programs are you hosting or service initiatives are you conducting? What leadership spaces are you occupying outside of Sigma? How are you representing your chapter adjective? (Tenacious, Glamorous, Oh So Fly, Exquisite, Covergirl, etc.) We want to recognize and celebrate you and how well you represent us!

As your UCC, I want to ensure the continuity of the Sigma brand in every undergraduate chapter in Central Region through streamlined tools and resources to help amplify your Signature Brand.

When I moved from Carbondale to Peoria, IL in 2005 I immediately found my graduate chapter home with the women of Epsilon Eta Sigma. I met one of my best sista/soror/friends Adwoa Aramat and was made to feel welcomed and supported. I learned so much about the business of Sigma Gamma Rho from the women of EHS and will do my best to make you all proud as your next Central Region UCC! In Sigma, Life Membership is an achievement that every Sigma woman should aspire to have. Life Members play a major role in shaping the future of our organization through leadership and policy. For me, being a Life Member demonstrates a dedication to ensuring we are making decisions that have a meaningful impact for today and years to come. This week, we focus on the second strategic objective of my plan, "Sisterly Bond". Sisterly bonding creates engagement opportunities through professional development, chapter retreats, and holding space for undergraduates to express their concerns and work collaboratively to resolve conflict. It also focuses on the relationship between graduate and undergraduate Sorors. Undergraduates should look to their grad chapter members for support and mentorship. Establishing the Grad x Undergraduate Mentorship Initiative will provide a roadmap to developing stronger sisterly bonds.
