The Black Actor’s Guild is an ensemble of actors, as well as all theatrical affiliations (stage managers, lighting designers, directors, etc) of many races, creeds, religions, sex, and/or national origins with the united purpose to educate ourselves and our audience on works of African American culture (play, musician, poets, authors, etc). This organization is an extension of the Illinois State U

niversity's School of Theatre. Our immediate audiences are the Bloomington/Normal communities as well as ISU campus. The Black Actors Guild will educate, entertain, and enlighten Illinois State University and the Bloomington-Normal communities to African American culture. playwrights, poets, and musicians, etc.) will be explored. We are always looking for new works to produce and put on. We hope that you will grow with us as we go on a journey into the unknown and misportrayed African American culture.
