Ashlyn was an Intern 2022-2023, and was a full-time Fellow from 2024-2025!

“I am from Oklahoma City and am now in my first year of law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law. I highly credit I-CCEW for the scholarship I received. My favorite memory from I-CCEW was spending one summer as a Fellow in Tulsa for Impact Academy. Also, the end of semester activity in 2025 was bubble soccer which was hilarious. I have a daschund named Leo, and my walk up song right now would probably be Perfect Day from the Legally Blonde soundtrack!”

What happens when you give our interns two completely random words and tell them to build a business? Somehow…viable business models.

At boot camp, our interns stepped into the shoes of entrepreneurs, taking two completely random words and turning them into a product, a target market, and a business model — all in 10 minutes.

Then came the fun part: pitching their ideas to our mysterious investor, Richy Rich 💰, who was ready to invest a large sum of money into ONE idea.

This activity puts our teams’ creativity, quick thinking, and teamwork to the test, and they definitely delivered.

This summer, our team had the opportunity to work alongside two amazing clients, tackling new challenges, developing creative solutions, and gaining real-world consulting experience along the way.
