‼️ BIG CELEBRATION: A Ga***rd senior has been elected to the PRSSA international committee.

Aniketh Koneru was announced as the 2025-26 vice president of BEDI (Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) at the 2025 PRSSA Leadership Assembly in Charlotte on March 7.

“Welcoming this new group of student leaders to PRSSA’s International Committee isn’t just about building connections — it’s about shaping the future of our industry and providing students with the knowledge, support and opportunities they need to make a lasting impact,” said Ray Day, APR, 2025 PRSA Chair, Stagwell vice chair and Allison Worldwide executive chair. “Congratulations to the newly elected PRSSA leaders advancing us into the future. It’s clear that our profession is in very good hands.”

In a LinkedIn post, Aniketh wrote:
This wouldn’t be possible without the support of Ga***rd College of Journalism and Mass Communication and my incredible friends, peers, and advisors: Kenna Williamson, Sam Sims, APR, Fellow PRSA, Armand McCoy, and a special shout out to Kristin VanVeen-Hincke who helped pay for my plane ticket!

Through my incredible journey, I got to meet some amazing, compassionate leaders from all around the U.S. and international countries. In addition to that, I am ecstatic to work with the new members of the international committee: Alicia Caracciolo, Madeline Emerick, Uyen Ngo, Teo Ignacio Landoni, Ally Guerra, Cheryl Lai, Morgan Milobar, and Talia Sinclair. 🚨 Ga***rd family, we have BIG news! 🚨

For the first time in over a decade, a Ga***rd team is competing in the PRSA Bateman Case Study Competition—and they’re taking on one of the most important fights of our time: protecting libraries.

OU for EveryLibrary is leading the charge to support EveryLibrary, the only national political action committee fighting for libraries everywhere.

Here’s where YOU come in. A simple follow () + share can make a HUGE impact. Their goal is to triple their following by next week, and spreading the word to just one friend, family member, or coworker can amplify their message.

Libraries are at risk, and this team is doing the work to protect them. Let’s show up and show out like only Ga***rd alumni can.
