University of Oklahoma Summer String Academy Annual intensive string workshop at the University of Oklahoma, open to college and pre-college violinists, violists and cellists.

The University of Oklahoma Summer String Academy is an intensive workshop focused on the study and performance of solo and chamber music repertoire for violin, viola and cello. Each student will be assigned to a chamber music group that will receive daily instruction from members of the faculty and perform on the final recital. Additionally, each student will receive three private lessons from fac

ulty members and have the opportunity to perform solo repertoire on evening showcase recitals and on studio recitals at the end of the week.
