We are very proud to announce that the University of Oklahoma won the 2022 Presidential Award for Outstanding Student Chapter!
"This award is the highest honor, recognizing only the top 5% of SPE’s student chapters around the world. We are very proud of our many exceptional accomplishments achieved over the past year—especially during this unique time”.
This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work of our former president Karen Ochie, officers Zamakhosi Magagula, Christopher Toth, Chinedu Nwosu, and cabinet members Camilo Andres Mateus Rubiano, Laura Camila Osorio Ojeda, Andrea Camila Castillo Manrique, Hannah McFarlane, Zeming Hu, David Nnamdi, Ayomide Hamzat, Emuobosa Patience Ojoboh, Michael Olubode, Quan Nguyen, Blessed Amoah, and Daniel Addokwei Tetteh, as well as the support of our faculty advisor Hamidreza Karami and staff advisor Francey Freeman. We also appreciate the support of the faculty and staff at the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering at University of Oklahoma and OU Mewbourne College of Earth And Energy.
